We collect information you voluntarily provide, such as when you register for a program, request information, create or update a member profile, make a purchase, or contact us. This may include your name, title, organization, law school and graduation year, Bar status, email address, telephone number, mailing address, and the contents of your communications. Payment information is collected and processed by an authorized third-party provider, and we do not store full payment card details on our systems.
• Information collected automatically. When you visit our website, we may automatically collect technical information such as your IP address, general location, browser type, operating system, device type, and pages viewed, including through cookies and similar technologies.

How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

• respond to inquiries and provide the programs, services, and information you request;
• administer memberships, events, and the ELC Member Portal;
• communicate with you about programs, events, services, and resources;
• process payments and maintain records;
• operate, secure, and improve our website and services; and
• detect and prevent fraud and comply with applicable law.

Text Messaging (SMS) and Your Consent

If you provide your telephone number and opt in to receive text messages from Elder Law College, you consent to receive SMS messages at that number. Mobile information will not be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties, excluding aggregators and providers of the text messaging services that help us deliver the messages. Text messaging opt-in data and consent are excluded from sharing, as stated above.
